We’re currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Group Leader to join our passionate team.

Long Day Care Time: 7am – 6pm
Qualification Required: Diploma in Children Services (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
Role: Permanent Full time (38hrs per week)
Room: Nursery
Pay Rate: $35.28 - $36.35 + Superannuation + Additional Benefits

About our St Luke's Service:

• 78-place centre with 5 well-appointed rooms
• Two large, mostly shaded outdoor yards with a sandpit and herb garden
• Highly experienced and supportive Centre Director and Assistant Director

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver a high quality, inclusive, educational program
• Supporting children to grow and develop and committing to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy, safe and nurturing environment.
• Participate in professional and personal development.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma qualification recognised by ACECQA
• Childcare First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework & the National Quality Standard
• Effective workplace communication skills
