Facility Management Victoria Pty Ltd (FMV) is a leading facility/building management company in Melbourne, managing over 50 of Victoria's most prestigious high-rise buildings and working with over 13 different Owners Corporation Management companies. FMV offers a variety of residential and commercial property services that includes but not limited to Building Management, Concierge Services, Security Services, etc.

The Role

FMV is currently seeking a full-time Facility/Building Manager. This role offers fixed working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. In this key role, you will be responsible for fostering a strong sense of community among residents while effectively leading the Concierge/Security Team in a positive and supportive environment.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing Building Assets and Projects, Essential Service Compliance, tendering for various services and ensuring the building is well-presented.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

Providing exceptional, above-and-beyond service to all our residents

Ensuring the Concierge/Security team is operating to high standards by providing ongoing training and support

Ensuring all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards

Ensuring a high standard of presentation and cleanliness of the building including the perimeter of the building

Keeping the building and all facilities up to date as per AESMR requirements by accurately following the maintenance protocol

Support with staff scheduling and coverage when required.

Requirements

Punctual and reliable with a professional approach and a polished presentation.

Superior written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Competent in working with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Strong organisational skills, problem-solving ability, and high attention to detail.

A commitment to providing memorable experiences to our residents through building strong relationships.

Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Demonstrated ability to be able to multi-task.

Qualification

A Diploma or higher qualification in Management or a related field is required.

Academic or industry specific qualifications will be highly regarded.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in a Similar Position
