About the role

We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer (Print) to join our dynamic team at Signarama North Lakes. As a Graphic Designer in Print Production, you will play a crucial role in creating eye-catching designs and preparing files for print production. This is a casual position, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle. However, if you'd like to convert to full-time, permanent we can do so after an initial trial period.

You will be based in our modern office located in North Lakes with floor to glass ceilings, where you will collaborate with our experienced team to deliver high-quality signage for our growing customer base.

What you'll be doing

Designing a variety of print materials, including business cards, panel signs, banners, vehicle graphics, and general signage.

Preparing print-ready files to the highest standards, ensuring optimal print quality. Attention to detail is highly sought after.

Communicating with clients to understand their needs and translate their vision into compelling designs.

Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies to enhance the company's brand and offerings.

Collaborating with the production team to ensure a seamless workflow and timely delivery of projects.

Providing exceptional customer service and managing client relationships.

Dealing with walk in clients on an occasional basis - putting together basic quotes if necessary or collecting sufficient information for them to be done by others. Training will be provided for this.

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the signage industry

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign)

Strong eye for detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

A creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for design

Familiarity with print production processes and file preparation - especially for wide format printers such as HP.
