What Will You Be Doing?

This role is perfect for a designer who loves to move between disciplines. You'll work on a variety of exciting projects, from creating stunning visual graphics to contributing to the industrial design of physical installations.

Exhibition & Project Design: You'll design innovative graphics and prepare them for print. You'll also be involved in the conceptual and industrial design process for exhibition stands, displays, and bespoke projects.

Creative & Technical Production: Your work will involve more than just visuals. You'll be responsible for creating technical drawings and construction guides, ensuring our designs can be built with precision.

Team Collaboration: You’ll work closely with our Creative Lead, Project Managers and Production team, translating creative concepts into practical, buildable solutions. You'll also liaise with suppliers to ensure all specifications are met.

Casual Hours: This is a casual role where you may have 8 - 32 hours per week, depending on our workload, with advance notice of requested hours. We are flexible with times to accommodate everything else in your day!

Your Skills & Experience

You’re a perfect fit if you have a strong portfolio that demonstrates a blend of creative flair and technical know-how.

Design Expertise: You're proficient with 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino, SolidWorks, or similar) and have solid experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Attention to Detail: Your meticulous approach to design, artwork, and technical drawings is your superpower. You understand that the smallest detail can make or break a project.

Problem-Solving: You enjoy tackling complex design challenges and can come up with practical, innovative solutions.

Communication: You can clearly and professionally communicate your ideas, whether you're presenting a concept to a client or discussing a technical detail with a fabricator.

Bonus Points if You Have:

Experience with museum, visitor centre, or expo projects.

Skills in video editing or animation.
