About the role

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Construction team at Utilstra in Victoria regional area. You'll be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of our key construction projects. This is a critical position that will directly contribute to the growth and success of our business.

Australian work rights are required for this position.

What you'll be doing

Manage all aspects of assigned construction projects from inception to completion

Develop and implement detailed project plans, budgets and timelines

Coordinate and oversee the work of contractors, subcontractors and project teams

Comply with relevant legislations, code and guidelines, and Utilstra-IMS

Monitor project progress and identify and resolve any issues or risks

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards

Liaise with clients, stakeholders and senior management to provide regular updates

Regular site visit to monitor the progress (may require interstate travel)

Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive continuous enhancement

What we're looking for

Minimum 8 years' experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry

Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex construction projects

Proven experience delivering multiple utility infrastructure project types including water, power, gas, and telecommunications in Victoria

Strong project management skills including planning, budgeting and risk management

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve problems

Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related field

Proficient in using project management software and tools
