A vacancy exists for a qualified Agricultural Technician, to work in horticulture out of the Griffith area.

Minimum of three years relevant experience and a Diploma, or 6 years relevant experience required.

Salary package - $77,600 per annum, plus superannuation.

Duties include:

· Examining various soil characteristics of farmland to identify most effective use

· Assisting in developing new methods of planting, fertilising, harvesting and processing crops to achieve maximum land usage

· Identify pathogens both micro-organisms, parasites, fungi, insects and the like

· Advising management on farming techniques
