Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, commission, maintain, and repair piping systems in workshop and field environments.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine pipe layout, dimensions, and material requirements.
Diagnose and repair defective products or arrange replacements.
Record inspections, tests, and maintenance activities; prepare timely service reports.
Report hazards, non-conformances, incidents, and injuries in line with company policy.
Promote company products and services; provide technical advice to customers.
Follow all company procedures, protocols, and workplace safety standards.
Collaborate with the technical team and share relevant information.
Maintain professional presentation, including full uniform and clean, tidy company vehicle.
Undertake frequent travel and overnight stays as required.
Key Skills & Attributes
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with piping or mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving, fault-finding, and attention-to-detail skills.
Strong written and verbal communication; able to prepare accurate reports.
Customer-focused with the ability to build professional relationships.
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and varied tasks.
Qualifications & Experience:
Trade certificate or qualification in plumbing, mechanical fitting, or a related field.
Proven experience in installation, maintenance, or repair of piping/mechanical systems.
Current driver’s licence (essential)
Competency with hand tools, power tools, and basic workshop equipment.
Understanding of workplace health and safety legislation and practices.
