About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and organized Warehouse Assistant to support our warehouse operations in Port Melbourne. This role involves managing incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring inventory accuracy, and coordinating logistics between suppliers, 3PL partners, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, comfortable driving a company van, and hold a valid forklift licence.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the right stock (including air conditioners, heat pumps, solar panels, and solar batteries) reaches customers on time and in excellent condition. This position plays a key role in supporting our sales, backend, and accounts teams by maintaining accurate records and reports to prevent errors in stock delivery.

Key Responsibilities

· Collect and deliver heavy stock (ACs, heat pumps, solar panels, solar batteries, etc.) to customers using the company van.

· Pick up stock from suppliers and the 3PL warehouse and arrange delivery to our warehouse.

· Coordinate with 3PL partners and suppliers regarding container arrivals, stock movements, and related reporting.

· Conduct regular stock counts at the office warehouse and maintain accurate inventory records.

· Use Dataforce software and excel report to track stock movement, transfers, and reports.

· Liaise with the sales, backend, and accounts teams to ensure smooth information flow and prevent incorrect deliveries.

· Generate and share a weekly warehouse report with the Director.

· Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety procedures.

· Ensure proper loading/unloading of goods and safe handling of heavy items.

Skills & Qualifications

· Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory control within Australia.

· Proficiency in Dataforce, or similar warehouse/inventory management software.

· Strong Excel and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive) skills.

· Valid Victorian driver’s licence.

· Valid forklift licence (mandatory).

· Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy stock.

· Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

· Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
