About the role:

This role is based at our Port Melbourne warehouse and is responsible for supporting the smooth operation of our hire equipment processes. You will be picking, preparing, and dispatching orders, ensuring stock is maintained to a high standard, and assisting with loading vehicles for delivery.

The Warehouse Assistant plays a key part in keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organised, while supporting our team to provide excellent service to our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

Prepare and complete orders accurately for dispatch or collection

Pick stock using the pick screen and assign asset numbers to hire items

Check all stock is in suitable condition for clients, placing damaged items in the repairs area

Assist with loading driver vans, checking off items to ensure accuracy

Receive and store new stock appropriately, keeping it in as-new condition

Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment, free of hazards

Monitor stock levels and advise the Warehouse Manager when supplies are low

Ensure all containers, storage units, and the warehouse are locked and secure at the end of the day

Rehab Hire is based in Port Melbourne.

This is a full-time role, Monday – Friday from 7.30am to 4:00pm.

About You:

The successful applicants will ideally have some warehousing experience and experience in inventory management operations.

Additionally, you will require:

Strong attention to detail

Be honest and reliable and have a positive attitude

Be able to work in a Team environment and on your own when required

Be physically fit and able to lift and move stock in a safe manner

Beneficial to have a forklift licence but not essential

A uniform and tools will be supplied by Rehab Hire.
