NURSERY ASSISTANT

Do you love working outdoors and have a passion for plants? Join us as a Nursery Assistant and be part of our hands-on gardening team.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist with plant care, including watering, pruning, and fertilizing

Help with the planting, propagation, and maintenance of garden stock

Ensure the nursery remains clean, organized, and welcoming

Assist customers with plant-related inquiries and recommendations

Required Skills :

Previous experience working outdoors or in a nursery/garden centre

A passion for plants and landscaping

Ability to perform physical tasks and work in various weather conditions

A positive and proactive attitude

Flexibility with work hours (casual or full-time available). We are looking for 4 staff for an afternoon shift from 2pm - 10pm and 2 staff for the day shift from 8:30-4pm. Preferably full time with weekend availability as rostered, with weekend award rates.

Successful candidates will be hired on a casual contract basis. Advertised pay rates will depend on the candidate's experience relevant to the role. We will pay at the Nursery award rate plus 15% shift loading.
