About the role

Hawkins Industrial Contracting is seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Fitter (Mechanic) to join our team in Far Western, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of light vehicles serving the Mining, Resources & Energy industry.

What you'll be doing

Conducting scheduled maintenance and inspections on light vehicles

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults and breakdowns

Performing general servicing, repairs, and modifications

Maintaining detailed records of work completed

Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and adheres to safety protocols

Assisting with the management of the workshop and inventory of parts

What we're looking for

Relevant trade qualifications in Light Vehicle Mechanics or Auto Electrician

Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Light Vehicle Fitter/Mechanic

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Current driver's licence and own reliable transport

What we offer

Super Paid on all hours

DIDO - 7on 7off Roster - 12hour days (that's 6 months off a year)

$62-$72ph Flat Rate
