HR Business Partner – Full Employee Lifecycle | Sydney | $90K + Bonus
Are you a HR professional ready to take the next step into a true business partnering role? This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you’ll gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle while supporting senior leaders and people managers.
This role is ideal for someone currently operating at a HR Administrator or Coordinator level who’s ready to broaden their scope and take ownership of strategic and operational HR functions.
About the Role As the HR Business Partner, you’ll work closely with the leadership team to deliver people initiatives that drive engagement, performance, and growth. You’ll manage everything from recruitment and onboarding to performance reviews, L&D, employment relations, WHS, and compensation & benefits. You’ll also oversee payroll for Australia (in-house) and New Zealand (outsourced), HR administration, and office management.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Coordinate recruitment processes, manage external recruiters, and oversee onboarding and induction.
- Learning & Development: Support the design and delivery of L&D programs, coordinate training days and conferences.
- Performance & Talent Management: Lead annual performance reviews, salary benchmarking, and recognition programs.
- Employment Relations: Provide advice and coaching to managers, resolve employee issues, and ensure compliance with legislation.
- Payroll Management: Process monthly payroll for Australia and oversee outsourced payroll for New Zealand.
- HR Administration: Maintain employee records, prepare contracts and letters, and manage exit processes.
- Office Management: Handle office amenities, supplier relationships, staff events, and administrative support for directors.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years in a HR generalist or administrative role
- Experience managing payroll and HR systems
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge of Australian employment legislation
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
