About the Role

East West Energy is on the lookout for a driven 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician ready to step up their career in the renewable energy sector.

You’ll be working across a mix of solar PV, battery and general electrical installations for both residential and commercial clients where no two days are ever the same.

We’re a tight-knit team that takes pride in doing things right the first time, with safety, organisation, and customer satisfaction at the core of everything we do.

What You’ll Be Doing

Assisting and leading installs of solar and battery systems (grid-connected and off-grid)

Performing electrical maintenance, repairs and testing to the highest standard

Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues with confidence and initiative

Ensuring all work meets AS/NZS standards, local regulations and company safety policies

Liaising with customers and maintaining our reputation for exceptional service

Participating in ongoing training and mentoring to grow your skillset

Keeping your workspace safe, tidy, and professional

What We’re Looking For

A 2nd–4th year electrical apprentice with solid hands-on experience in the trade

Passion for renewable energy and a willingness to keep learning

Strong understanding of tools, materials and on-site safety practices

A problem-solver who’s proactive, reliable and takes ownership of their work

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Physically fit, organised and motivated to deliver quality results on time

A manual driver’s licence (or in the process of obtaining one)
