About the position

We are seeking a tertiary educated candidate with strong data entry and MS Excel skills and be able to perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to ensure clean, accurate, and consistent data, use Power Query and DAX to transform and model data effectively and provide ad hoc data analysis and reporting support across teams.

Additional skills to monitor and schedule Power BI refreshes and troubleshoot performance or access issues and assist with maintaining asset registers and recording maintenance activity for the management of building assets would be an advantage. Training will be provided to a candidate that is already strong in administration.

Key responsibilities include:

Formatting data captured during onsite inspections

Recording maintenance activities for a large portfolio of properties and allocating the activities and costs to individual assets

Managing data flow from being received from clients through to final processing

Using a range of maintenance systems as well as MS Excel.

Assessing, interpreting and assigning maintenance invoices and purchasing information against assets within maintenance systems

Qualifications/Experience:

Proficiency in MS Excel

Experience using Power BI Dataflows and understanding data model design and normalisation principles

Possess a bachelor degree in a related field (e.g. finance or IT)

High attention to detail

Problem identification and resolution skills

Ability to meet deadlines

Experience integrating and working with multiple data sources (e.g., SQL, Excel, APIs)
