We are on the hunt for a Monday receptionist/admin officer to work alongside our Women's Health GP and Physio team, at our boutique Women's Health & Exercise clinic in the beautiful Applecross Village!
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Administration Officer
Job Type: Part-time (Permanent or Casual option) - Mondays 8-5pm with the option of additional Friday hours.
Reports to: FitRight HQ Practice Manager
POSITION DETAILS
Classification/level: Admin Officer - Support Services Level 4
Award/agreement: Health Professionals and Support Services Award
Physical location: FitRight HQ, 2/40 Ardross St Applecross
This role supervises (FTE): 0
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
To work alongside one Women’s Health GP and two Pelvic Health / Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists to provide excellent customer service and assist in clinic management with tasks including:
Respond to patient enquiries via email or telephone
Facilitate patient bookings
Take payments from patients
Assisting in general clinic management
Filing and managing stock
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential criteria:
Super caring and empathetic (you'll be talking to women about potentially vulnerable areas of their health)
Must have experience with Best Practice medical software and be tech savvy
Must be available to work in Applecross on Mondays 8-5 (or similar)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including a high level of verbal and written communication
Great time management skills and attention to detail
Ability to work as a team and independently, as well as receive directives
Desirable criteria:
Previous experience in an Administrative role in a clinical/health setting
Experience working in a GP clinic
Experience/familiarity with the following programs; Cliniko, Gmail and Google Drive
Note for nurses!
- we would consider changing this role and pay level to an administration / nursing role to assist the GP with Mirena insertions and other minor procedures. However - the Best Practice experience is the main essential criteria.
