The opportunity
As a newly created position within the structure, the Development Services team are seeking a Development Services Support Team Leader to provide leadership and oversee the day-to-day management of the Development Services Support (DSS) Team. DSS provide specialised administrative support to the Development Planning and Building Certification Teams.
This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time, 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement
Base Salary Range: $87,392 - $102,814 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $2,464 retention allowance
You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace

Coordinate and manage daily work tasks of the DSS Team
Prepare, review and amend DC policies, management directives, systems views, business plans and procedures to ensure the most efficient and effective delivery of services
To establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders

Relevant qualifications in local government, business management, business administration or a related discipline or equivalent combination of contemporary experience in this field
Demonstrated experience in leadership including the ability to plan, motivate and supervise a team
Proven ability to monitor and review team budgets
