We are a new, specialised outpatient medical infusion clinic dedicated to providing safe, accessible, and evidence-based infusion therapies for the community. Our mission is to deliver care that is simple, reliable, and centred around the patient.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant with a background in infusion therapy or day-hospital services to help establish best-practice clinical processes at our new facility. You will lead the development of protocols, policies, and step-by-step guidelines across a range of medical infusions, with support from Nurse Practitioners and pharmaceutical nurse educators.

Key responsibilities include:

Designing and implementing infusion protocols (iron, biologics, antibiotics, intralipids, zoledronic acid).

Establishing emergency preparedness procedures, including crash trolley setup.

Creating documentation, checklists, and safety policies aligned with NSW Health and national standards.

Delivering training, induction, and ongoing upskilling for Registered Nurses.

Advising on clinical governance, accreditation, and continuous quality improvement.

About You

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner.

Proven experience in infusion therapy, oncology, or day-hospital/outpatient settings.

Strong knowledge of clinical governance, emergency response, and patient safety standards.

Demonstrated ability in protocol development and staff education.

Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
