As the company continues to grow and secure new landmark projects across South-East Queensland, we are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their construction division. Primary Objective

As an experienced Electrical Estimator, you will work autonomously to provide accurate and competitive estimates for a wide range of electrical projects, including hospitals, shopping centres, high rise buildings and commercial tenancies. This opportunity will see you join a team industry professionals, where you will bring your extensive knowledge and experience in successfully tendering for large scale projects, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and working with Tier One builders.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

• Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documentation to identify and quantify all required materials, labour, and subcontractor cost
• Preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical projects that align with the company's pricing strategies and profit margins
• Accurate compilation of tender submissions and presentations
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure feasibility and cost-efficiency
• Support project planning and ensure all estimates align with budgetary and operational goals
• Identify creative solutions to client requirements that may involve a degree of competitive differentiation and innovation
• Attend site inspections, actively participate in meetings, build and maintain strong relationships with company clients, industry suppliers and subcontractors
• Confidently negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors on prices and variation orders

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels, maintaining strong relationships
