Based in Sydney’s CBD, the business is now seeking a high-performing Senior Corporate Finance Analyst to join their Group Finance team in a permanent capacity.

Your New Role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager of FP&A, you will take a lead role in driving commercial insight across the group through high-impact analysis, complex financial modelling, and business case development. You’ll be involved in strategic projects that include major investment decisions, M&A assessments, and cross-functional performance benchmarking. This role is suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where their work influences real business outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Building detailed business cases and financial models to support strategic decisions
• Conducting project feasibility, DCF, and scenario analysis across new ventures
• Leading benchmarking analysis and identifying performance gaps and opportunities
• Supporting M&A transactions, including valuation modelling, acquisition analysis, and divestment planning
• Assisting with investment committee papers, internal reporting, and project updates
• Engaging with commercial and strategy teams to challenge assumptions and deliver actionable insights
• Partnering with external advisors and stakeholders across the broader business

About You:
You are a motivated and analytical finance professional with a background in transaction advisory, valuations, or corporate finance. Your ability to interpret data, challenge commercial thinking, and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels sets you apart.
The ideal candidate will have:

• CA/CPA or CFA qualification (or nearing completion)
• 3–5 years’ experience in a corporate finance, commercial advisory, or FP&A environment
• Experience within a Big 4 Transaction Services or Valuations team strongly preferred
• Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills
• Strong presentation, business case, and report writing experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI or similar tools (desirable)
