Our Client is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of secure, scalable DevSecOps practices across the software development lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, security, and cloud-native infrastructure, with a strong ability to mentor teams and drive best practices in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage secure CI/CD pipelines with automation and scalability.
• Embed security across the SDLC in collaboration with development teams.
• Deploy and manage containerised infrastructure with a security-first mindset.
• Implement and maintain security tools (SAST/DAST, vulnerability scanners, IDS).
• Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis.
• Mentor engineers and foster cross-functional collaboration.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong Linux/Unix, networking, and security fundamentals.
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Helm).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with security tooling (SonarQube, Grype, JFrog Xray).
• Knowledge of ASD Essential 8 and ISM frameworks.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
