About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Receptionist / Dental Assistant Trainee to join our friendly team at High Street Dental Practice in Kangaroo Flat VIC 3555. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment and gain valuable experience in the dental industry.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients, and ensuring a positive patient experience

Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, filing patient records, and inventory management

Providing excellent customer service and patient care

Assisting the dentist during procedures by passing instruments, mixing materials, and maintaining a sterile work environment

Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments

Undertaking on-the-job training to develop dental assisting skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Strong interest and commitment to a career in the dental industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour

Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Good computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems

A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Relevant experience in a healthcare or customer service role would be an advantage

You must have availability to work between 8.00 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday.
