A leading national construction firm with a proven track record in delivering large-scale commercial projects across Canberra is seeking a Project Engineer. In this pivotal role, you'll drive construction scheduling, uphold quality standards, and keep progress on track for an $80M D&C Commercial Build.

Your new role

• Assist in developing and maintaining detailed construction schedules, ensuring milestones are met and resources are optimised
• Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and client expectations
• Support buildability reviews and contribute to design coordination to enhance construction efficiency
• Track progress against program and report on key performance indicators to the Project Manager
• Maintain accurate site records, including QA documentation, progress reports, and technical submissions

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience working on commercial projects, ideally high rise but not esstential
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive mindset and passion for delivering quality outcomes
• Familiarity with construction software (e.g., Procore, Aconex, MS Project)
