Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year including super
Hours: 37.5 hrs/week, flexible hybrid schedule (2 days WFH, 3 days office)
Experience: 7–9 years in fire protection engineering

We are seeking a skilled Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join an experienced team working on a wide variety of projects, including Civic Infrastructure, Education, Defence, and Commercial developments. What You’ll Do

Provide fire protection design expertise for wet and dry fire systems across local and national projects

Lead small to medium-sized engineering design projects and support larger initiatives

Ensure designs comply with technical, commercial, safety, and regulatory standards (AS/NZS, NCC, etc.)

Collaborate effectively with clients, authorities, and internal teams

Mentor junior engineers and support the growth of the Property & Buildings group

Identify business development opportunities and maintain strong client relationships

About You

Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent) with 7–9 years in Australian building services

Experienced in fire protection engineering and documentation

Familiarity with BIM, NavisWorks, and Revit MEP highly desirable

Consulting engineering experience preferred; D&C contracting backgrounds considered

Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills
