We’re urgently seeking an experienced Trainer & Assessor to join our client, a respected civil contractor delivering projects across the Pilbara mining sector predominantly involved with rehabilitation, construction and maintenance.

The Role

You’ll deliver on-site training and assessment across a variety of mobile plant and civil earthworks operations. Working alongside experienced site teams, you’ll play a key role in competency development, VOCs, and supporting safe and efficient project delivery.

What’s on offer

• Roster: 8:6 dayshift only
• Pay Rate: $85 - $90 p/h + super
• Location: FMG Solomon
• Scope: Work across both Exploration and Road Maintenance projects
• Temp with a view of permanency for the right candidate

To be considered, you must have

• Cert IV in WH&S & Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience training and assessing across mobile plant within civil or mining projects
• Strong understanding of civil earthworks environments
• Ability to deliver hands-on training in line with compliance and site requirements
• Valid driver’s licence and Construction White Card
• First Aid/CPR Certificate
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Ability to start immediately
• National Police Clearance or willing to obtain
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Solid understanding of WHS legislation and risk management processes
• Proficiency in site reporting and basic computer systems (e.g, MS Office, project reporting tools)
• FMG Inducted or willing to complete
