Are you passionate about preserving and enhancing natural environments? The City is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to coordinate and drive the strategic planning and operational delivery of our Natural Areas program.

Location: City of Melville Civic Centre

Salary: Level 9 $122,070.45 to $129,844.61 pro-rata p.a. + 12% Super

Employment Type: Permanent/ Full Time

What You’ll Be Doing

Shape long-term strategies that balance ecological integrity with community engagement and urban development

Coordinate and support the team in the delivery of environmental restoration and threat management activities

Provide leadership to the Natural Areas team fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a dynamic leader who has:

A tertiary qualification in natural resource management, ecology or related discipline

Extensive technical knowledge and practical experience in natural area management

Proven ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals

Effective leadership and interpersonal skills
