Reporting into the Head of Development, you'll be the key link between project teams and external stakeholders. You'll design and deliver engagement frameworks, support project delivery teams, and ensure local communities are genuinely heard throughout the lifecycle of utility-scale renewable energy projects. You'll also influence project outcomes and provide insights on stakeholder sentiment to support executive decision making.

Duties

Build strong relationships with landholders, community groups, First Nations stakeholders and government representatives

Act as lead contact point during project events and consultations

Support project leads on stakeholder engagement and capability building

Develop and execute engagement and social action strategies across projects in the NEM

Skills/experience

Experience in community or stakeholder engagement within energy, utilities or infrastructure

Strong background building trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders including First Nations communities

Understanding of large-scale renewable energy development in Australia

High-level communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

Relevant qualifications in communications, business, public relations or similar
