Senior Transport Planner
Location: Eveleigh/WFH
Contract: 12 month assignment
Rate: $750 P/D + Super

Key Responsibilities:

• Support infrastructure planning and delivery projects, including ad hoc transport requests for schools.
• Undertake desktop assessments using Lite Rapid Transport Assessment processes.
• Review and provide feedback on consultant deliverables including:
• Draft responses to government transport policies, local planning documents, and precinct planning proposals.
• Develop recommendations from consultant outputs to mitigate risks and optimise the value of current state.
• Source, evaluate, and report on transport data to measure progress and drive continuous improvement.

About You:

• Proven experience in transport planning, ideally within infrastructure, education, or government sectors.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in assessing transport impacts and developing strategic recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing formal reports and briefings.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• A solid understanding of transport policy, planning frameworks, and relevant legislation.
