Join the Granville Assertive Response Team (GART), part of Western Sydney Local Health District Mental Health Services, where innovation meets compassion. Based at Granville’s GART hub for 3 days and Cumberland Hospital for 2 days, you’ll be part of a team committed to recovery-focused care in one of Sydney’s most diverse communities.

What you'll be doing
As a Mental Health Clinician, you’ll deliver intensive, evidence-based outreach services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. You’ll work collaboratively with consumers, carers, and service providers to promote recovery, empowerment, and independent functioning.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored interventions
Develop and implement individual care plans with consumers and carers
Advocate for consumer rights and facilitate access to community resources
Participate in quality improvement and service development initiatives
Engage in clinical meetings, supervision, and ongoing education

Essential Requirements
Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Social Worker.
Registration: Social Workers, eligibility to be a member of the AASW.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness.
Demonstrated understanding and ability to work within experience working in a team and/or knowledge of the principles that guide service delivery within this model of practice
Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision.
Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills.
Computer competence and literacy including the use of database systems.
Current NSW Driver’s License.
