Our client is an established mid-sized full service accounting firm, looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in their Melbourne CBD office. An exciting opportunity to be a part of a recognised firm where you will be serving a variety of clients across a range of industries by providing taxation, accounting & business advisory services.

Requirements

• 4+ years’ business services/public practice experience
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
• Experience overseeing the work of junior staff (desirable)
• Solid understanding of Australian tax legislation
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Part or full CA/CPA qualifications

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to provide accurate and timely tax solutions
• Prepare income tax, BAS, IAS, and payroll tax returns for diverse clients
• Support the preparation of financial statements across multiple entity types
• Reconcile tax accounts and contribute to tax provision processes
• Research and resolve complex tax issues, providing guidance to clients
