Your new role:
In this role, you will provide evidence-based clinical services as part of a multidisciplinary team within the Early Psychosis Program, working alongside nursing, allied health, and medical colleagues. You'll contribute to recovery-focused care for consumers and their families/carers through:
- Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, patient education, therapeutic interventions and discharge planning.
- Delivering individual and group treatment, informed by evidence-based practice.
- Working collaboratively with families, carers, and external agencies to achieve person-centred outcomes.
- Participating in clinical education, supervision of students, and mentoring junior staff.
- Contributing to quality improvement, service development, and research activities that enhance patient care.
About you:
To thrive in this position, you will bring strong clinical skills, a commitment to recovery-focused practice, and the ability to work within a dynamic, interprofessional team. Your strengths will include:
- Tertiary qualification and registration as a Psychologist, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist (AHPRA/AASW as relevant).
- Ability to provide high-quality assessment, intervention and care planning with consumers and families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with consumers, carers, and colleagues.
- Capacity to manage caseloads effectively while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Willingness to contribute to education, supervision, and service improvement initiatives.
