Are you a creative and motivated communications professional looking to make a real impact in the community? Shire of Mundaring is seeking an experienced Communications Officer - Digital to join our team and help shape how we connect with our community.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining digital communication channels to engage our community and create positive awareness of our events, services and facilities.

Key responsibilities

overseeing and enhancing the Shire’s digital channels and website

assisting with the management of our online engagement platform

creating content that informs, engages and inspires our community

What we are looking for

strong copywriting skills with exceptional proofreading and editing ability

relevant qualification in digital and social media marketing, communications or public relations

at least one-two years’ experience in a similar role

confidence working with content management systems and graphic design tools

excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines

A salary in the range of $87,933 - $92,769 will be offered dependant on skills, ability and experience as well as a range of benefits including:
