Locum Full-Time Physiotherapist – Residential Aged Care

Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Locum Full-Time Physiotherapist to join our team in the Smithfield, Canley Vale, and Eastern suburbs areas. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in aged care and a proactive approach to resident well-being. There is also opportunity for continued growth and employment after the initial one year commitment in an aged care, community, or hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for residents in RACFs.

Develop and implement personalised treatment plans focused on mobility, pain management, and fall prevention.

Deliver individual and group exercise programs to improve strength, balance, and function.

Collaborate with care staff, GPs, and allied health professionals to ensure holistic resident care.

Educate residents, families, and staff on safe mobility and rehabilitation strategies.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with aged care standards and compliance requirements.

Essential Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.

Full AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.

Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, resident-focused approach.

Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.

Able to commit to a one year locum position.
