High-End Commercial Projects | National D&C Specialist | Hybrid Role
Join a leading national Architectural design & construction specialist, renowned for pushing the boundaries of stair, balustrade, glass and bespoke architectural metalwork solutions on high-end commercial projects.
With a strong pipeline and collaborative culture, they're looking for a confident and relationship-driven Client Relations Manager to help grow their presence.
About the Role
In this role, you'll be the face of the business, responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new commercial projects with strategic clients in the architecture, development, construction and tenancy sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies to win D&C engagements on commercial projects.
Present the company's D&C methodology and value proposition to potential clients.
Build and maintain relationships with architects, developers, project managers, builders and tenancy managers.
Generate leads, manage the sales funnel, deliver compelling proposals and negotiate contracts.
Lead tender responses, commercial proposals and pricing models
Collaborate with internal teams (design, engineering, operations) to ensure alignment between sales commitments and delivery
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and opportunities, and feed insights back to leadership
Achieve sales targets, revenue growth and margin goals
Requirements
Significant experience (ideally 5+ years) in business development/sales roles within the fit-out, design & construct or commercial leasing sectors
Demonstrate established relationships across multiple client types, including architects, developers, project managers, builders and tenancy managers.
Familiarity with D&C project methodology and commercial build processes
Hands-on experience with D&C project methodology and commercial build processes.
Excellent relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and financial awareness
Excellent communication, presentation and written proposal skills
Self-motivated, target-driven, with a "hunter" mindset
A relevant degree/qualification (e.g. construction, architecture, engineering, business) is preferred
Australian work rights are required for this position
