Tasks:
- Measure projects
- Prepare Bill of Quantities from measures
- Make amendments to any measures as required by addendums or request for changes
- Liaise with Clients/Builders as required
- Raise RFI’s as required
- Carry out necessary Estimator duties associated with your projects or others
- Update project details in BBC’s CRM
- Any other duties as directed by your Supervisor

Responsibilities:
- Review documents for Projects, and identify which drawings are required for our trade
- Correctly read and understand the Drawings, Scope of Works, Finishes Schedules, Specifications and all tender
documents
- Using Estimating software (Bluebeam Revu) to collect accurate measurement
- Compile accurate Bill of Quantities for projects measured

Skills and experience:
The successful candidate must have demonstrated and proven experience in the following:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of, and ability to read all relevant documents including Drawings, Schedules, Scope of
Works, Finishes, Addendums etc.
- Understanding of painting processes, systems and products
- Proficiency in using Estimating software, general MS suite, and intermediate computer skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must work well in a team environment and be willing to assist other team members
- You must be able to work autonomously
- Good written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Industry contacts in construction an advantage
