Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and get hands on creating embroidered merch?
Based in Moorabbin, this is a full time (Monday - Friday, 38 hours per week) in office role.
Hours are 8am - 4.30pm.
We're on the hunt for a bright, enthusiastic and super keen team member to join our production crew. Experience with embroidery is a bonus but attitude, curiosity and a willingness to learn are what really count!
What you'll be doing :
Operating Barudan single head & multi head embroidery machines. Don't worry, full training is provided! (You'll be trained on single heads first before upgrading to multi-head machines).
Performing basic machine maintenance to keep everything humming
Packing and unpacking garments
Moving stock and keeping things organised
Working closely with our Sales team to get orders out on time
Performing quality checks on finished products
What we're looking for :
Attention to detail, spotting the little things makes a huge difference!
A flair for design and layout, even if it's just a keen eye, that's enough to start
A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new branding techniques
A drive to continuously learn and develop, we love people who grow with us!
Fit and active, you'll be on your feet all day
Good computer skills and an ability to learn embroidery software
Familiarity with design software and proficiency in computer applications for embroidery work
Strong communication and problem solving skills
Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced, team oriented environment
Australian work rights are required for this position
Bonus points if you've ever dabbled in :
Sewing, knitting, needlework or similar crafty stuff
Fishing (seriously, knot tying skills are golden!)
Any creative or hands on hobbies that show manual dexterity and attention to detail
