What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of our shutdown team, your responsibilities will include:
Complete all required safety documentation before commencing works including G2G, JHA/SWP/SWMS and permit to work.
Follow and enforce safety rules and procedures including wearing the protective PPE required for performing the works safely.
Conduct machine pre starts and checks on the equipment and scaffolding gears to ensure they are safe to use.
Assess the type of scaffold required and plan the layout according to work requirements.
Erect, dismantle and modify scaffolds according to applicable standards and rules.
· Ensure scaffolding platforms are stable, safe and secure.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on scaffolds and update scaffolding tags and register.
Maintain good housekeeping in the scaffold materials storage yard.
Perform alternative tasks other than scaffolding works as directed by the responsible supervisor and Stand in Supervisor.
What You Bring
A strong commitment to safety
Minimum 2 years of continuous Scaffolding experience (mining or similar industry)
Scaffolding High-Risk License (SI or SA) – Intermediate or Advanced
White Card
Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
Unrestricted Australian work rights
Additional Site Requirements:
Working at Heights Ticket - (must be valid within 2 years):
Confined Space Ticket - (must be valid within 2 years):
Mask Fit Test - Karara is a clean shaven Mine Site !
