Our client is a leading vertically integrated mining services contractor operating across Western Australia’s most active iron ore regions. Following the $210M acquisition of one of WA's largest haulage contractors, and additional major investments into crushing and project infrastructure, they are expanding their technical team to support multiple mine sites.

We are now seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor to support day-to-day survey operations and contribute to broader mine development and drill & blast integration.

About the Role:

This is a site-based FIFO role on an 8:6 rostered role on an iron ore site in Wiluna. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting daily survey pickups and set-outs to support mining operations

Generating accurate as-built models, volumes, and reporting using Surpac

Operating Trimble GPS equipment for all field survey activities

Conducting UAV drone surveys and processing aerial data

Collaborating with engineering and production teams on mine design and planning

Supporting and learning drill & blast design workflows under supervision

Maintaining data integrity, backups and survey control systems

What You’ll Bring:

Degree or diploma in Surveying (Mining or Engineering Surveying)

Proven experience working as a Mine Surveyor on open-pit sites

Proficiency with Surpac and Trimble systems

Experience with UAV/drone survey applications

Strong attention to detail, data quality and communication skills

Willingness to learn and contribute to D&B design processes

Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites as needed

Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
