As we gear up for a high-paced Spring season, we're expanding our Shutdown team at Karara Mine (near Geraldton) and are on the lookout for skilled and safety-focused Fixed Plant BOILERMAKERS to join the action.

Key ingredients to ensure success in the role:

Read drawings (esp. Isometric Drawings), work orders and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications.

Examine work for defects and measure with straightedges or template to ensure conformance with specifications

Set up and operate hand and power tools such as welding equipment, and oxy equipment.

Detect faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials or products and notify supervisors.

Modify/Repair steelwork sustained from damage, transit and installation, fabrication errors and detailing errors

Maintain clean safe work environment by complying with procedures, rules and safety.

Essential Requirements for role:

Demonstrated commitment to safety

Minimum of 12 months continuous experience as a Fixed Plant Boilermaker, ideally in mining or a similar industry

Australian or Australian-recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification

Mask fit testing

White Card

Working at Heights

High-risk license

Confined Space

Gas Testing

Unlimited Australian Work Rights
