The Opportunity
This isn't your typical entry-level coordinator role. At Insulect, we're looking for someone with solid experience who can confidently implement marketing and sales enablement activities — across digital and offline channels — within a well-scoped strategy and with the support of an experienced team.
You won't be building the strategy from scratch — our marketing plan and key campaigns are already defined. What we need is someone who can take that plan and bring it to life: managing timelines, building content, supporting sales, running events, and strengthening our brand presence through practical, hands-on execution.
If you're a tech-savvy doer who enjoys variety, knows your way around tools like Canva and HubSpot, and loves collaborating with subject matter experts in a real-world industry — not SaaS — this role could be a great fit. We're a small, close-knit team working in the electricity and industrial energy space, so you'll need to be comfortable working alongside engineers, salespeople, and technical specialists, and translating complex ideas into engaging, branded communications.
This is a great opportunity for someone who's hands-on, organised, and confident delivering across multiple channels — with the right support around you to succeed.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Marketing Campaigns Calendar
You'll be responsible for managing and maintaining the marketing and campaigns calendar — turning a clear, high-level strategy into a structured rollout of content, events, communications, and digital activity. You'll help ensure timelines are met, internal stakeholders stay aligned, and content keeps flowing — internally and externally.
Content Development & Implementation
You'll create a broad range of marketing content — from social posts and presentations to brochures, case studies, email campaigns, and event assets. You'll work within our established brand guidelines using Canva (and templates provided), and tap into internal subject matter experts for input on technical content. Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT is a bonus — they'll help you draft faster and smarter.
Sales Enablement & CRM Support
You'll support the sales team by creating and maintaining key sales tools and materials, coordinating customer-facing communications, and helping manage workflows and campaigns in HubSpot. You'll work closely with our internal HubSpot users and external Marketing Advisor to ensure automation, contact data, and customer journeys are smooth, consistent, and effective.
Brand Management
You'll help protect and promote a consistent brand — both internally and externally — by keeping our core assets up to date, refining templates (in conjunction with an external Graphic Designer), and ensuring visual and written communication is on-brand. You'll help internal stakeholders use the brand well, while also creating new branded materials as needed.
Event Coordination
You'll coordinate Insulect's involvement in key industry conferences and customer-facing events — handling logistics, liaising with stand designers and suppliers, and ensuring the right materials, assets, and team members are prepared and supported. (Don't worry, we're not talking about five events a month — more like two or three a year.)
Internal Communications
You'll also contribute to general internal comms — like sharing project outcomes, team milestones, or updates as part of planned campaigns or content rollouts — all part of keeping the team informed, aligned, and engaged with what marketing is doing.
Who You Are
You're an experienced marketer who's confident in taking ownership of projects and seeing them through — but you also know when to ask for input, collaborate, or clarify the brief. You enjoy variety in your day-to-day, have strong attention to detail, and are comfortable working across content, digital tools, and stakeholder coordination.
You must have existing Australian work authorisation to be considered for this role.
You might not be a marketing strategist (yet), but you're absolutely the person who can bring strategy to life — through systems, content, timelines, and execution. You're a natural communicator, you enjoy working with technical subject matter, and you take pride in well-crafted, useful, and on-brand work.
You'll likely tick most of these boxes:
5+ years of experience in a hands-on marketing role (ideally B2B or industrial/technical sectors)
B2B or industrial sector experience is strongly preferred for this position
Confident using HubSpot (or similar CRM/marketing automation platform) for campaigns and contact management
Comfortable building polished visual content in Canva (or similar) using brand templates and guides
Experience publishing website content via CMS and using email marketing tools
Clear writing skills, with a proactive mindset and collaborative approach
Organised and reliable — you hit deadlines, follow up with stakeholders, and manage priorities well
Curious and tech-savvy — open to AI tools, automation, new formats, and smarter ways of working
Bonus Points
While not required, it's great if you also bring:
Experience working with technical or engineering subject matter — you know how to ask good questions and turn complex ideas into accessible messaging
Basic video editing or webinar coordination experience
Experience coordinating with external designers or event suppliers
A continuous improvement mindset — always looking for ways to tighten up tools, systems, or workflows
