The role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join our team at Modern Floors Pty Ltd in Daw Park, South Australia. This full-time position will involve providing exceptional customer service and driving sales of our premium flooring products.

Key responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their flooring needs and provide tailored solutions

Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers in a showroom setting

Prepare detailed product quotes and proposals for customers

Liaise with the installation team to coordinate delivery and fitting of products

Maintain detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions

Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing initiatives

Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the home improvement or building materials industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers

Strong product knowledge and the ability to match customers with the right flooring solutions

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

Enthusiasm, resilience and a positive attitude

Strong organizational and time management skills
