What's on offer:
- 6 month initial contract, with the further possibility of extension or permanency
- Flexible working arrangements, offering 3 days WFH per week, after an initial on-boarding period
- A rotating roster between 8am - 8pm, Monday - Friday only
- $35ph + super
What you'll do:
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound customer enquiries regarding health insurance policies, ensuring every interaction is handled with empathy and efficiency.
- Initiate outbound calls to customers to update payment details, providing clear guidance and support throughout the process.
- Accurately update information while maintaining strict adherence to privacy regulations and company policies.
- Triage customer queries effectively by identifying needs and transferring them to relevant specialist teams when additional support is required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, policies, and procedures to provide accurate information at all times.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal guidelines during every customer interaction.
- Contribute positively to team goals by sharing insights, supporting colleagues, and participating in regular training sessions.
- Deliver a consistently high standard of customer experience by demonstrating patience, understanding, and professionalism in every conversation.
What you bring:
- Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles across retail, hospitality or call centre environments where delivering excellent service was paramount.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills that enable you to explain complex information simply and build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds.
- A positive attitude coupled with resilience when managing challenging situations or adapting to change within fast-evolving environments.
- Meticulous attention to detail when handling sensitive data such as payment or personal information, ensuring accuracy at all times.
- Ability to strictly adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, organisational policies and procedures without exception.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service by listening actively and responding empathetically to individual needs.
- Willingness to learn new systems quickly; previous experience with insurance products or call centre technology is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Collaborative approach that values teamwork while also being dependable when working independently during remote shifts.
