The Role

We're seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused casual sales assistants to join our team for the Christmas season at our exclusive pop-ups in Westfield Doncaster and Eastland Shopping Centres. If you love the festive season, are passionate about unique, handcrafted European ornaments and jewellery, and thrive in a dynamic retail environment, we’d love to meet you!

Position:

Casual Sales Assistant (15-35 hours per week)

Location:

Westfield Doncaster or Eastland Shopping Centre, Ringwood

Employment Dates:

Training: First two weeks of November

Westfield pop-up open: 18th November – 24th December

Eastland pop-up open: 3rd December – 23rd December

Shifts/Hours:

First 3 weeks: Between 10 and 25 hours per week (midweek + some weekends, between 9 am and 5 pm)

Second 3 weeks: Between 15 and 35 hours per week (Monday-Sunday, including late shifts up to 12am)

Note: Shifts subject to change based on demand.

Pay Rate/Benefits:

Paid according to the General Retail Award plus superannuation

Level One or Level Three Sales Assistants (hourly rates between $33 and $49 per hour, depending on duties and loadings)

Key Responsibilities:

Providing excellent customer service, engagement and genuine connections with customers, working as a brand ambassador

Educating our customers about our brand and products, offering expert styling advice, and helping them find their perfect product from our wide range.

Assisting our customers, no matter what their reason for coming to the store

Visual Merchandising: Setting up, restocking and packing down, always handling delicate ornaments with care

Handling cash and operating the POS system

Opening and closing the kiosk – removing covers, setting up/taking down the POS system & security of cash (Level Three only)

Fulfilling online orders during quiet periods

Ensuring that all system procedures are being followed to ensure 100% accuracy with inventory

Skills/Experience Required:

Previous retail experience required, preferably with luxury items or jewellery

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Interpersonal Skills, Communication, and Customer Service

Flexibility to work during the holiday season

Knowledge of German or German culture is a bonus
