We are a Christmas hire and decorating business, looking for casual Christmas Decorators to join our team from early November until mid January. We love to put a smile on our client’s faces when we deliver stunning Christmas displays!

Your work days will start and end at our warehouse in Heidelberg West, where there is plenty of free parking. You will then travel in a van to different locations around Melbourne, Geelong and surrounds.

You will have the following skills and qualities:

A talent for design, colour and style

Visual/spatial awareness and manual dexterity

Customer service experience

Able to work as part of a team

A strong work ethic

Able to work under pressure and problem solve

Observant with attention to detail

Clear and friendly verbal communication

A valid Victorian Drivers Licence would be an advantage

The Role includes:

Set up and decoration of artificial and chopped pine Christmas trees and associated decorations

Packing and unpacking vans

Leaving worksites clean and tidy

Working in a safe manner

Assembly of decorations

Driving a van, or navigating if not driving

This role requires the lifting of heavy boxes, dusty and dirty work, climbing ladders and working to deadlines.

Hours of work will likely range from 5 – 8 hrs per day Monday – Friday, occasional weekend and late-night shifts may be required. This role is covered by the General Retail Industry Award, Casual Employee Level 1.

Preference for full-time availability over the November to January period.
