About the Role
As Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. Working closely with our senior chefs, you will ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and consistency across all service periods. The role includes preparing dishes, supporting functions and events, and maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment.
The role will consist of daily food preparation, service and also assisting senior chefs with a number of different types of functions.
Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes to the required standard.
Support senior chefs in service and during functions.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and WHS practices.
Assist with stock control, minimising waste, and ensuring efficiency.
Work collaboratively with the team to achieve service excellence.
About You
Relevant trade qualifications.
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
High-volume catering or hospitality experience.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices.
A hands-on approach with excellent time management.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and split shifts.
A passion for food, creativity, and delivering memorable dining experiences.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as Sous Chef or strong experience as a Chef de Partie ready to step up.
Proven experience as a Chef in a similar role within a high-volume, upscale kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices and kitchen management.
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
Creative flair and a passion for creating exceptional dishes and memorable dining experiences.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays as required.
