The Role

Are you a hospitality leader with a passion for world-class service and premium dining experiences? We're seeking a General Manager to lead the launch of a new high-end restaurant in the Brisbane CBD. This is a rare pre-opening opportunity for someone with proven experience in fine dining or award-winning venues who thrives in both operational and guest-facing roles. You will be responsible for building and leading the team with a hands-on management style while setting the standard for exceptional guest experiences. As the face of the brand, you will represent the venue through marketing, PR, and community engagement, ensuring its reputation matches the caliber of its offering. Strong commercial acumen is essential, as you will oversee financial performance and operational reporting directly to the owners and directors.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will bring the following:

• Relevant qualifications in Hospitality / RMLV / RSA / Approved Manager
• Proven experience running modern Fine Dining Restaurants and Bars
• Strong product knowledge in Japanese Cuisine and Hospitality
• Proficiency with POS, rostering, and reservation systems
• Dynamic, energetic, and hands-on leadership style
