- Full-time, 12month fixed-term role based in Hobart, Tasmania
About the Opportunity
The Administration Officer plays a key role in supporting the University Psychology Clinic (UPC); a training clinic for provisionally registered psychologists completing their postgraduate training in psychological practice. The UPC offers services to members of the community via appointments attended in-person or via telehealth.
The position will provide high-quality administrative, front-of-house, and clinic operations support in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, contributing to efficient and responsive processes that enable the smooth day-to-day functioning of the UPC.
The Administration Officer will build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders while delivering essential service-related support.
The role specifically requires front-of-house experience, knowledge of medical terminology and administration processes, and the ability to offer a professional clinic reception service to members of the community.
What’s Required
- Demonstrated administrative skills including experience with a range of software applications, including email and client management database systems.
- Commitment to customer service excellence and proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and procedures.
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment and demonstrated capacity to act independently within established guidelines, exercising sound judgement and discretion whilst respecting confidentiality.
- Effective interpersonal, resilience, and communication skills with a positive attitude and a willingness to communicate effectively with a broad range of people.
- Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to prioritise and complete tasks within defined deadlines.
- Previous experience in a psychology clinic is highly desirable.
Salary
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 4 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $91,488 comprising base salary within the range of $73,814 to $78,195 plus 17% superannuation.
