About the Role
As a Program Officer, you’ll play a key role in the administration of grant programs, ensuring they are delivered efficiently and in line with departmental policies. You’ll work closely with grant applicants and recipients, providing guidance and support throughout the grant lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer grant applications, variations, acquittals, and audits in compliance with guidelines and processes.
- Provide clear and supportive communication to grant applicants and recipients.
- Maintain accurate records using systems such as SmartyGrants, CRM, and SAP.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and briefing materials.
- Monitor program progress and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Support grant rounds through coordination, reconciliation, and publishing.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve program outcomes.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance and governance.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven time management and multitasking capabilities.
- A collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Experience with grants management systems (e.g., SmartyGrants), CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office.
- A customer-focused approach to service delivery.
