About the role
Bricks remain one of the most environmentally friendly and beautiful building materials, creating an enduring style for their owners and generations to come.
As our Sales Representative, your responsibility will be ensuring that all of our bricks, pavers and crushed brick materials recovered and processed from demolitions find their way back to a home, commercial building, sporting field or other purpose for another useful life. Thus, you will be playing a key role in supporting the circular economy and sustainable building practices.
The role requires an individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with our diverse client base and internal team. If you are a self-starter, who has the appetite to pick up the phone and pro-actively sell, then this role is for you!
To be considered you must demonstrate
Sales experience, ideally in the building or landscaping industries. You should have experience servicing a diverse range of customers in the B2B and B2C space.
Ability to sell on value and not just price.
An eye for detail and focus on style when it comes to building, landscaping or renovating.
Ability to develop and maintain a Sales and Marketing plan.
Be able to work autonomously, problem solve and report against the Sales Plan.
Passionate about building relationships, closing deals and exceeding sales targets.
High attention to detail and ability to learn about new products or skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment.
Preferable attributes
Previous experience with, or a high degree of knowledge of, bricks, pavers or landscape materials.
Experience driving brand and product awareness through marketing campaigns and promotions (digital, social media, industry functions etc.).
Formal sales or marketing training.
