Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences while working with cutting-edge Local Government technology? ReadyTech is looking for a Customer Experience Specialist to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of Property & Rates solutions for our clients.

About the Role

As a Customer Experience Specialist, you’ll be the voice of the customer within our organisation, ensuring their needs are met while balancing business priorities. You’ll play a key role in implementing our Property & Rates (Councilwise) application, managing transitions, and delivering tailored training and support.

Location: Remote/Hybrid - Australia

Key Responsibilities

· Champion customer needs across internal teams.

· Lead implementation and consulting engagements for our Councilwise solution.

· Manage customer queries during project transitions via calls and emails.

· Collaborate with Project Managers for smooth handovers to BAU.

· Deliver comprehensive handovers to the Customer Support Team post ‘go live’.

· Provide targeted system training (onsite, online, group, and face-to-face).

· Handle project administration including data migration and scheduling.

· Work with Development Teams to implement customer-specific rules.

· Maximise revenue through proactive delivery and delay mitigation.

· Ensure delivery meets scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations.

· Engage with customers to understand their business processes and needs.

About You

You’re a proactive problem-solver with a passion for customer success and a knack for local government systems. You bring:

· 2+ years in service delivery, implementing or supporting technology solutions.

· Strong understanding of local government requirements and practices

· Proven ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.

· Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

· Strong project and time management capabilities.

· Analytical thinking and comfort with technical language.

· A self-starting, inquisitive mindset.
