THE CLIENT
Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing Australian organisation with a strong presence in the property living sector. Dedicated to creating vibrant communities, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and a resident-focused experience. Based in Sydney CBD, the team works predominantly on-site.

THE ROLE
Supporting a workforce of around 140 employees and working closely with a People & Culture Manager you will:

• Oversee payroll in partnership with the outsourced provider, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
• Maintain compliance with Fair Work, awards, and other legislative requirements related to payroll.
• Manage payroll-related queries from employees and managers, providing clear and practical guidance.
• Support the integration of payroll processes with HR systems, ensuring data integrity and seamless reporting.
• Assist with payroll-related aspects of onboarding, offboarding, and workforce changes.
• Collaborate with leadership to provide insights and reporting on payroll costs, trends, and workforce metrics.

Please note this is a part-time role (12–18 hours per week) offered on an initial 6-month contract.

THE CANDIDATE
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience managing payroll processes, ideally within a growing organisation, with strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and compliance requirements. You will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with senior leaders. Previous experience managing payroll end-to-end, including liaising with outsourced providers, is essential. Ideally you will have experience with Employment Hero.
